Loop + Bow

Identity design for a New York boutique and gifting company.

Loop + Bow is a gifting boutique and e-boutique company with a personal touch on quality, specializing in get-well, new-mom, teen, holiday, custom, corporate, and event packages, to name a few.

Although Loop + Bow was born as a solution from Myself Lingerie, it was not to be tied to the parent brand at all. It was wholesome working with Sarah on this project at Hello Writing.

The reception for it was warm, and sales records were a delight. I handled everything from identity to illustrations to print packaging.

Design:

Japhet Onojie

Art direction:

Sarah Fischbein

Year:

2024

The Challenge

While the parent brand, Myself Lingerie, had distinguished itself in the NY market, Loop + Bow was set to favour a niche audience. The Identity needed to retain the same high-end, luxury feel as the parent brand without carrying over its elements. The litmus test for this project was audience reception, numbers in sales, and reviews from customers, both old and new.

The Solution

We opted for a contemporary vibe, focused predominantly on the gift wrapping aspect, as opposed to the actual items. We felt this lends a fun vibe, while leaving the options limitless.

Marketing the gift wrapping and gift giving experience, this route is all about the ribbon tying and presentation appeal. For a brand, this has a great stream of options for contemporary gifting icons and flexible applications.
